Disc Pelletizer

Disc Pelletizer, Pelletizing Disc

The disc pelletizer converts powdered materials into uniform fertilizer granules through continuous rolling and pelletizing inside an inclined rotating disc.

It is widely used in the production of compound fertilizers, organic fertilizers, and specialty fertilizers, particularly for small and medium-capacity production lines.

Adjustable disc of pan granulator gives operators precise control over granule formation and produces uniform, round pellets with excellent strength.

Features
  • Flexible Particle Size Control

Disc angle, rotational speed, and water addition can be adjusted to produce fertilizer granules in different sizes, typically 2–5 mm. Depending on the material and process, the pelletizing rate can reach 70%–90%.

  • Strong, Uniform Granules

Continuous rolling inside the disc compacts the material into dense spherical granules with high compressive strength and excellent resistance to breakage.

  • Adjustable Disc Operation

The disc angle and rotational speed work together to control material movement and retention time. This allows operators to fine-tune granule size and density for different production requirements.

  • Anti-Stick Scraper System

An integrated scraper continuously removes material from the disc surface to prevent build-up and maintain consistent granule quality throughout production.
