Cyclone Dust Collector
Cyclone dust collectors remove dry, non-sticky particles from air streams in fertilizer production and other bulk material processing applications. Incoming air containing dust or debris (usually from a dryer or cooler) enters the cylindrical chamber at high speed and starts to spin.
As the air moves around the chamber, the dust particles are pushed toward the walls and fall into the hopper, while the cleaner air leaves through the outlet at the top. These dust collectors have a simple structure to keep installation, maintenance and operating costs relatively low.
In fertilizer production plants, they are often installed after dryers or coolers to recover fine product and reduce the dust load sent to the baghouse filter.
