Rotary Coater, Coating Drum

The rotary coater applies a uniform protective coating to fertilizer granules, improve product appearance, reducing caking, and extending storage stability. It is developed for coated compound fertilizers and can also support controlled-release fertilizer production by applying functional coating materials to the granule surface.

The rotating drum keeps fertilizer granules in continuous motion while liquid coating agents and solid powder additives are evenly applied across the material surface. Once coated, the granules are isolated from ambient air by a protective film that reduces moisture absorption, controls nutrient release, and improves overall fertilizer performance. Micronutrients can also be incorporated into the coating to enhance the value of the finished product. Our rotary coating machines are equipped with a complete coating system that includes a screw conveyor, an oil tank with an agitator, a metering pump, and atomizing spray nozzles. The atomized spraying process is easy to control and delivers a uniform coating layer, producing smooth, glossy fertilizer granules with excellent anti-caking performance and long-lasting nutrient release.
